For safe working on trees

Tree care is a demanding and varied job that requires extensive spe­cialist knowledge, manual dexterity and a high degree of respons­ibility.

Topics such as the chainsaw license, the intro­duction to tree care, the AS-Tree 1 and 2 modules and the installation of crown pro­tections can serve as a basis for working suc­cessfully in this field or estab­lishing yourself as an expert in tree care.

Subsidies from the SVLFG


Anerkannte Fortbildungsstätte

For those insured with the German Social Accident Insurance Insti­tution for the agri­cultural sector, high-quality further training is doubly worthwhile.

If you complete a 2 to 5-day course at a training center recognized by the SVLFG, you will benefit from the following subsidies from 01.01.2025, which we will grant you as SVLFG:

  • for a 2-day course: 60 euros
  • for a 3-day course: 90 euros
  • for a 4-day course: 120 euros
  • for a 5-day course: 150 Euro

Please state your BG mem­bership number when regis­tering for the course. After com­pleting the course, you will receive the cor­res­ponding voucher from us.

A safe workplace is the basis for suc­cessful work in tree care. Our com­pre­hensive training courses help you to minimize risks and be optimally prepared for emer­gencies.

Rescue exercises in the tree

In occu­pa­tional safety and accident pre­vention training courses, you will learn pre­ventative measures to reduce hazards and work in accordance with current safety standards. In order to be able to react quickly and effectively in an emergency, so-called rescue tech­niques are required spe­cifically for the field of tree care. With the tech­niques taught in the course, you will master life-saving measures for yourself and your col­leagues.

First aid measures

In the first aid courses for arborists, which are also specially tailored to the requirements and chal­lenges of tree care, you will learn how to treat injuries com­petently and apply life-saving measures.
