The “Tree safety at work 1” course is the minimum requirement for insured persons who carry out dangerous tree work in accordance with the regulations for health and safety 4.2 Horticulture, fruit growing and parks.
The course imparts knowledge and skills for carrying out dangerous tree work, felling and processing trees over 20 cm in diameter at breast height with a chainsaw and carrying out the work under consideration of construction site conditions after an appropriate risk assessment.
Successful participation fulfills the obligation to provide proof of specialist knowledge. This certificate of competence is a prerequisite for participation in further courses such as AS Baum 2, SKT B and ETW.
The theory part as e-learning
As a rule, an AS-Tree 1 course lasts five training days. Thanks to the option of completing the theory part flexibly as an online course, the attendance time is reduced to just three days. This allows participants to learn the theoretical content at their own pace and from any location. The remaining three days on site then focus entirely on practical implementation and the final exam.
With our e-learning offer, you benefit from maximum flexibility and practical knowledge transfer. Learn from the comfort of your own home when it suits you best – without long journeys or fixed course times. The AS-Tree 1 online course brings the specialist knowledge required for certification directly to your home. All content is taught via video according to your own schedule.
