Introduction course for career changers

This course highlights the theoretical basics of tree care. The seminar is primarily aimed at people who have little or no previous knowledge of tree care.
In manageable course modules, participants are taught basic theoretical knowledge about tree care, such as
- Definition of the tree
- Tree biology
- Introduction to tree species
- Insights into ZTV tree care
- Job description of the arborist

from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

Course focuses
- to convey the requirements of the accident prevention regulations,
- the chainsaw and other equipment,
- work assignments under practical conditions on the ground,
- examination to test the knowledge imparted and issue a certificate,
- tree safety assessment.
Requirements for taking part in the course

- VALID OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH EXAMINATION (AMU)
The occupational health examination must be carried out by an occupational or company physician. This physician must certify the suitability/fitness for “dangerous tree work” in accordance with § 2 VSG 4.2 Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture. (B45) - Protective equipment:_
Forest safety shoes, safety helmet combination, cut protection trousers, work gloves and work jacket in fluorescent color as well as weatherproof clothing - Age of majority
IMPORTANT
The required health certificates must be presented to the course instructor on Monday BEFORE the start of the course and WITHOUT being requested to do so. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from the course.
