Work safety tree 2
This course is particularly suitable for arborists, forestry professionals and people who work at height and want to learn special techniques.
AS Tree 2

Working in an aerial work platform enables efficient and safe working at great heights.
These versatile tools are used in numerous industries such as construction, tree care, building cleaning and event technology. The safe operation of an aerial work platform requires in-depth knowledge of how it works, protective measures and legal requirements.
Targeted training and the use of personal protective equipment can minimize accidents at work and increase work efficiency. Aerial work platforms not only offer safety, but also the flexibility to perform complex tasks precisely and reliably.
This course is a prerequisite for insured persons who carry out work with chainsaws using aerial work platforms. It builds on participation in the Occupational Safety Tree I course.
The Occupational Safety Tree 2 course imparts knowledge and skills:
- for carrying out tree work in the treetop with aerial work platforms,
- for pruning techniques with a chainsaw,
- for abseiling work from branches and trunk sections and carrying out the work under consideration of construction site conditions in accordance with the relevant risk assessment.
